Medical Gas & Respiratory
- Medical Gas Oxygen / Respiration Gas
The inhalation of gaseous Oxygen is used in many medical emergencies as well as in long-term therapy (such as: patient in operating room, intensive care unit, emergency room and first aid in ambulance).
- Medical Gas Nitrous Oxide (N2O)
It is used for anesthesia and analgesia. It is also used for cryosurgery.
- Medical Gas Air
It is used as surgical air in driving pneumatic tools like dental hand pieces.
- Medical Gas Nitrogen
Typically used to power surgical equipment during various procedure.
- Medical CO2
It is used in laser surgery.
- Lung function Mix Gases
Lung function gases comprise of a mixture of carbon monoxide and helium with the balance being oxygen and nitrogen.
- Blood Analyzer Calibration Gas
It is used in most pathology and biochemistry laboratories in analysis of blood samples for CO2 (10%) and N2 (90%) levels for detecting any respiratory and metabolic issues.
- Laser Gas for Surgery
For example: CO2 = 4.5 %; N2 = 13.5 %; He = 77.5 %
- Cryopreservation Gas
Cryopreservation is method to preserve biological materials with minimal ageing by freezing and keeping storage at very low temperature, down to -196oC. This method is used for liquid nitrogen.
